A cell phone can be an expensive investment. With the average price of a cell phone being 400, there should always be a case to protect it in the event of accidental mishaps.

When a cell phone is dropped, the internal parts could be dislocated. The device may not be affected immediately, but in the long term this could mean having to replace it. This is one reason why a cell phone case would be a great investment.

Extreme temperatures can cause a cell phone to fail. A cell phone case would protect the internal parts of the device from melting or being frozen. Water damage can occur from condensation.

In cases of extreme sunlight, a cell phone case can protect your eyes from the blinding rays of the sun by providing a light shade of tint over the screen of the device.

When you are in rural areas where your cell phone signal isn’t strong, some cases provide a signal amplifier which gives you added protection from those annoying dropped calls.

In addition to all of these benefits, cell phone cases are fashionable, and come in many colors. Some cases can also be personalized to fit your individual personality.

Email is a wonderful communication tool to take advantage of that allows people all across the world the ability to stay quickly in touch with one another. With so many business professionals on the go these days, it only makes sense that they need access to their emails via their mobile cell phones. Business professionals can easily stay in touch with their clients, suppliers, coworkers and employers by accessing their email on their mobile devices, which significantly helps improve worker productivity and efficiency.

When a worker reads their emails on their cell phone they are able to access important data and information no matter where they are, improve their communication skills, and cut costs. In fact, if a worker uses their email in an effective manner they can find new business prospects and provide excellent customer service to potential and existing clients.

Not only has accessing emails on a cell phone become beneficial for large corporations but it is also advantageous for small businesses. When a worker accesses their emails on a cell phone they are not bound by the limitations of a PC or Mac; they can access their emails no matter where they are without having to lug around a computer and find Internet access.

To really get the most out of your cell phone you need a variety of thing like accessories, certain data plans and numerous apps. Apps are a great way to get the most out of your cell phone because different apps are capable of different things. Some apps allow you to play certain games and others can do other neat things like access news from different companies and organizations. Most popular apps you can download for free but some cost. For the apps that cost if you look hard enough in your phone app store you should be able to find a similar version of the app for free.
Data plans are also important because some data plans limit your phone abilities because if you have a data plan that limits your wifi then you can’t surf the internet as much as you want to. Another way to get the most out of your cell phone is accessories. Accessories are great because it can turn a regular phone into your own personalized phone. There are numerous accessories that you can buy that include phone cases, Bluetooth headsets and phone holders. You can pick and choose from a selection at your local phone store.

For many people when they want to have family time it can be ruined because of the computers. That is when you should know that you can have wireless internet installed into your home. Then you will not have to worry about trying to stay in touch with your family because you could see that they will be coming into the main room when it is family night. The problem that you can encounter is that without having this installed into your home you will have the kids or spouse running out to check on the latest game or email alert that they have been given. That is when you should know that with this they could bring their computer with them and if the alert goes off rather than running out of the room they will be able to check it right there. Being able to know about the ways that a family can come together can be a challenge with the world being so full of modern technology. That is when you should know about the joys that having this can bring since you will not have to worry about your family members running out of the room quickly during family night to check on the alert they just got.

What is “jailbreaking?” A logical question to start with, jailbreaking is a process by which smart phone users can gain full access to their device beyond the control intended by the manufacturers. Why would someone want to jailbreak their phone?Take the iPhone for example. Apple sets up their devices so that in order to download apps and products one must go through the iTunes Store. Though the iTunes Store does have a wide selection, some users desire functionality or customization found elsewhere in the extensive mobile marketplace. Furthermore, usability limitations are in place as well. For example, on the standard iOS issued iPhone it is impossible to upload a customized message tone, or run two applications simultaneously, if you want to say, check your email while listening to music. A jailbroken phone can be altered to meet these wants. Is jailbreaking illegal? In regards to inmates, yes; cell phones, no. Though Apple once claimed it was a violation of copyright laws, the courts have since established jailbreaking is well within the rights of users as per the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. However, it should be noted that while jailbreaking a phone can result in no legal penalty, it may be consider grounds to void your manufacture warranty.<img src"../wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/wordpress/img/trans.gif" alt"" />Can I un-jailbreak my phone?Yes, jailbreaking your phone is not necessarily a permanent endeavor. Again using the iPhone as an example, a user can simply connect their phone to their computer and use the iTunes sync to restore it to its original operating system. Just click “restore, “yes” or “allow” when asked about backing up your iPhone then “continue” once your phone restarts automatically. At this point, however, any customizations made to your phone by means of jailbreaking will be lost. Why would you un-jailbreak?Some of the safeguards manufacturers put in place are intended for their consumers own good, even if frustrating. Jailbroken phones can be subject to quickly draining battery life and bugs the default operating systems helps to protect against, at the expense of free-wheeling functionality.

There may be no scientific evidence to support the link between increasing cell phone functionality with decreasing intelligence, however the amount of common sense leaving the brain and manifesting itself on digital screens is indisputable. From apps to answer life’s most trivial questions to the simple amount of time people spend staring down at their do-it-all device, smarter and smarter phones may ultimately stunt mental growth. After all, if your pocket dwelling phenomenon handles quandaries both big and small, what use are brains altogether, aside from controlling basic bodily functions such as respiration and circulation? While phones have yet to replace the brain’s unconscious control over the body, they have apparently already overridden our most primitive forms of learned movement. As the “Distracted Driving” debate rages on, with people unable to balance basic car-wielding skills against the ability to talk, text and surf the web, perhaps an even more overwhelmingly failure to multitask is developing in city streets worldwide. According to a New York Times article, “Distracted Walking” has emerged as a serious threat to pedestrians, unable to put one foot in front of the other without losing focus. Somehow, despite over a full decade’s worth of practice for even the youngest cell phone users out there, too many smart phone junkies can’t look left and right before looking down to check their mail, messages, what-have-you.Fortunately, several learning applications have already been developed for children, downloadable to their mobile devices, which parents are allowing at younger and younger ages. From SAT prep apps for high schoolers to more basic matching and simple math games for elementary school children, hopefully within the next generation, smart phones will figure out how to reverse their effect on our human kind. Will it work? Only time will tell, as de-evolution could potentially revert man back to a crawling, 4-legged species, a process perhaps already underway.

Cell phones were designed in order to increase your social life activity and make you more accessible on the move, yet some people have actually managed to turn the trend so that less people desire to talk to them. Though this defies basic logic, it is indeed possible. Consider these trends that left thousands of unfortunate early adopters and creatures of bad habit with the sad realization that their mobile device isn’t nearly as much fun when you have no friends left to talk to.

Blue-tooth headsets They’ve been mercilessly mocked on many occasions from movie and TV spoofs to blogs all across the internet, yet some people still feel the need to make free moving hand gestures while talking to an audience that can’t see them. It’s beyond logic defying at this point. And how annoying is it when you turn to answer someone’s question only to see them point to their earpiece and smirk… Jokes on you, guy, you look like an idiot.

Music without earphones in enclosed spaces It’s as if God set out to punish all public transportation riders by combining the general discomfort of the train and or bus then combining it with poor sound quality elevator music. Unless you’re going for a miniature reenactment of the final scene in Say Anything, there is little to no defense for imposing your own musical stylings on casual commuters. Even with impeccable song choice, from 10 to 50 feet away your cell phone simply sounds like an incessant mockingbird with laryngitis.

Bedazzled phone-backs Are you really too cheap to buy a cell phone cover? They come in pretty much all shapes, colors and designs these days. Honestly, if you need an arts and crafts project try building a birdhouse for the aforementioned guy without headphones; maybe he’ll get the message.

Yes, there are a lot of hip new phones on the market. Yes, it’s nice to have an app for nearly every conceivable life situation. Is it necessarily worth the other hassles, however? That’s remains a matter of opinion. For many cell phone users, the simplest form of communication is still the preferred one. To use a Go Phone, traditionally developed for Pay As You Go Plans, you don’t necessarily have to subscribe to that coverage. Almost any phone plan can use a Go Phone device, so why would someone instead opt for rudimentary technology instead of the savvier systems on the market?

Price Go Phones are incredibly cheap for what you get. Similar in make and functionality to phones that would have cost more than 100 less than a decade ago, today they retail for less than 20 in many stores.

Peace of Mind A corollary to price, the peace of mind comes in knowing that if you drop your cell phone in glass of water, the sink or the ocean you aren’t all of a sudden on the hook for a big billed exchange. Simply go to your local Wal-Mart and pick up another Go Phone, then home the Sim Card is salvageable.

Durability The good news about having a tiny, non-touch screen is its nearly impossible to crack. Furthermore, the overall small and rounded shape makes it less vulnerable to the occasional drop, looking more or less like a stone with a speaker box. And with a cheap plastic finish, it’s not like scratches and scrapes are of any major concern.

Increasing functionality Not only can they talk and text, but most Go Phones now have basic internet capability as well. What more can you possibly need? After all, you probably have a computer at home to take care of all the heavy lifting. A phone is by definition a talking device, which it already goes above and beyond.
